Spike Jonze is considered an auteur of modern music videos. in his videos he uses a lot of slow motion. he often contradicts the music to the visulas, he will put a slow paced song with fast paced imagery such as skateboarding and explosions. he also has very few cuts in his work useing very long shots that drag out over long periods of time. his music videos often have the feeling of being a mini movie where you could take the song away and still watch the visuals like a short film.
